About me
As native German speaker I have worked and lived abroad for 11 years - including in France, England and Australia - giving me a deep understanding of cultural differences in my source languages. I go the extra mile to deliver the best possible translation. My clients often ask me for advice and quality assessments - testament to their trust in my professional opinion and experience.
I completed my translation degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne in Germany, which included spending a year abroad at the Université de Provence in France and completing a French Licence in translation. During my studies I specialised in Legal, Economic and Technical Translations, translating both out of and into German.
2005 I moved to England and worked as part of the in-house team for translation services provider thebigword, where I quickly progressed from Junior to Senior Translator and specialised in marketing, travel & tourism and website translations. After gaining comprehensive experience as a Senior Translator I set up my own business and continue to translate projects for a wide variety of clients.
